Patient Billing Representative

Role Overview:

• Support patients with payment processing, billing education, insurance verification, and claims-related inquiries.
• Deliver empathetic, accurate, and compliant service while navigating healthcare billing systems.

Qualifications:

• Customer service or call center experience required; healthcare billing or insurance experience strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical proficiency with EMR systems and standard computer applications needed.

Responsibilities:

• Process patient payments, create and maintain payment plans, and verify insurance information.
• Educate patients on billing concepts and coordinate with internal teams to resolve billing issues.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and documentation standards.

Work Environment:

• Remote position open to residents of selected US states.
• Full-time 40 hours with paid training and shift differential for nights and weekends.
