Job Overview:
- You will own the licensing and compliance program from the ground up, reporting to the General Counsel.
- This is a high-impact role for a self-starter in a build-phase environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation and submission of new state lending license applications across target jurisdictions.
- Manage state regulatory examinations, including document gathering, readiness reviews, and remediation.
- Design and implement end-to-end processes for maintaining licenses and MLO oversight.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in mortgage or consumer lending licensing and compliance.
- Deep knowledge of NMLS, state licensing requirements, and multistate regulatory frameworks.
- Proven track record of obtaining new licenses and building compliance programs.
