Sr. Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist

Vimeo is seeking an experienced Sr. Accounts Receivable & Collections Specialist to join our global collections team working remotely within the U.S. The Collections Specialist will manage their accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices for B2B transactions while maintaining positive relationships with Vimeo customers. What you’ll do: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to facilitate timely payments and address any concerns effectively. Monitor and manage assigned customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices, reduce overdue balances, and achieve collection targets. Proactively contact clients via phone and email to resolve payment issues and negotiate payment plans when necessary. Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes in a timely manner. Work closely with internal departments such as sales, billing, and customer service to address client concerns and ensure accurate invoicing. Manage workload and complete assigned duties within given timelines Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to billing, payments, and account balances. Provide excellent customer service while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Maintain accurate records of payment arrangements, and collection activities including status of account, all contact attempts and method of contact. Create and maintain tasks to ensure timely follow up with customers regarding payment or promises to pay. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all collections activities.
