Engineering Manager

About the Role:

• Lead a team building the distributed systems that power a decentralized compute and storage platform.
• Combine people leadership with strong technical ownership while staying hands-on with critical systems.
• Work in an async, writing-first environment with a focus on pragmatic architectural decisions.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of senior engineers working on P2P networking, distributed storage, and compute orchestration.
• Drive execution of core platform services and establish strong engineering practices around testing, CI/CD, and incident management.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Product, Security, and Platform teams on roadmaps and cross-team dependencies.

What We’re Looking For:

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in an Engineering Manager role leading distributed systems teams.
• Strong backend and systems programming experience in Go, C/C++, or Rust with deep knowledge of P2P and distributed systems.
• Experience with compute orchestration, containerized infrastructure, and production operations tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
