Lead Accountant

The Lead Accountant plays a key role in managing complex accounting processes, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP (including ASC 606 and ASC 842), and supporting system integrations that impact financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of efficient data flow processes between the EHR, RCM, and Financial Reporting System to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Identify opportunities for electronic data feeds and automation to reduce manual entry and improve data integrity.
• Reconcile revenue from RCM systems to financial statements, ensuring completeness and accuracy of net revenue reporting.

Standardize manual entry processes and controls to ensure consistency and reduce errors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA track or certification required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience including technical accounting and systems exposure, preferably in a public accounting/private equity-backed or healthcare environment.
