Responsibilities:
- Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap, including OS lifecycle management, patching strategy, standardization, and technical debt reduction.
- Define and maintain engineering standards, platform build patterns, and reliability-focused processes across Linux environments.
- Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code adoption using Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.
Requirements:
- 7–10+ years of progressive experience engineering and operating Linux platforms in enterprise environments.
- Deep expertise in SUSE Linux, RHEL, or equivalent platforms; advanced proficiency with Bash and Python scripting.
- Proven experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, and virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere.
