Team Lead - Engineering

We're on the lookout for a great Engineering Team Lead with strong people leadership, delivery and operations experience as well as a technical software engineering background. You'll lead a pod of engineers who own a number of platform products at Xero. The team is responsible for creating, maintaining and maturing platforms that can scale and support Xero's continuing growth. Our customers are other Xero teams, supporting the overall product. You'll be responsible for supporting your direct reports in becoming awesome Xeros, empowering them to deliver high-quality software and fostering the growth of a world-class engineering culture within our teams. You'll be responsible for delivery outcomes. You'll also analyse system health, support engineers during incidents, and maintain knowledge of technologies used in the development of Xero’s software applications.
