Platform Ownership & AWS Operations:
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable AWS environments with clear separation across dev, staging, and production.
- Manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform), CI/CD pipelines, and controlled promotion paths.
Security, Compliance & SOC 2:
- Maintain and mature the platform's security posture, ensuring controls are audit-ready.
- Own SOC 2 compliance, partner with InfoSec and auditors, enforce least-privilege IAM and encryption.
Support, Reliability & Client Experience:
- Establish SLAs, incident response playbooks, and on-call coverage.
- Serve as senior escalation point for incidents, driving rapid resolution and transparent communication.
Leadership & Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Lead and mentor the external IT/platform engineering team, setting technical standards.
- Partner with Information Security, Product, and client-facing teams; communicate platform health to C-suite stakeholders.
