Position Summary:

  • Represent the firm's clients by preparing for and conducting QME depositions in workers' compensation cases.
  • Review case files ahead of scheduled depositions to identify opportunities for resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-deposition case review to assess status and medical-legal issues.
  • Prepare deposition strategy and questions based on in-depth file analysis.
  • Appear at and conduct QME depositions, making objections and tracking testimony.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree and active California bar license required.
  • 1+ years of experience litigating workers' compensation cases, including QME/AME depositions, strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of California workers' compensation procedures and deposition practice.
