Position Summary:
- Represent the firm's clients by preparing for and conducting QME depositions in workers' compensation cases.
- Review case files ahead of scheduled depositions to identify opportunities for resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-deposition case review to assess status and medical-legal issues.
- Prepare deposition strategy and questions based on in-depth file analysis.
- Appear at and conduct QME depositions, making objections and tracking testimony.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree and active California bar license required.
- 1+ years of experience litigating workers' compensation cases, including QME/AME depositions, strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of California workers' compensation procedures and deposition practice.
