Principal Software Engineer - Identity Graph

About the job:

• As a Principal Software Engineer for Stytch, you will serve as the technical anchor for a new Identity Graph initiative on the Fraud & Risk teams.
• You will take early-stage concepts and turn them into an actionable MVP, owning the platform's technical direction.

Responsibilities:

• Own the technical vision and system architecture for Identity Graph, evaluating and selecting the optimal technology stack.
• Design high-performance synchronous read models and complex data pipelines for real-time identity resolution.
• Partner with product and engineering leadership to manage expectations and drive cross-team alignment.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years experience in distributed systems, graph databases, and complex data models.
• Deep expertise in a production-grade code base and strong ability to wrangle ambiguity.
• Commitment to collaborative team dynamics and mentorship.
