Role Overview:
- You will lead the database team responsible for the architecture of Intelerad's medical imaging solutions.
- You will define database strategy and standards for PACS, RIS, and enterprise imaging platforms.
- You will ensure designs are scalable, secure, and reliable across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid deployment models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct, recruit, and advance a team of database engineering and architecture specialists.
- Oversee operational excellence and reliability of all production database systems.
- Establish and enforce database security protocols and compliance frameworks including HIPAA.
What You Bring:
- At least 7 years of experience in database architecture, design, and administration.
- At least 2 years of experience directly managing or leading database engineering or architecture specialists.
- Strong expertise in both relational (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases.
