Safety Assessments:

  • Evaluate the safety culture and organizational alignment with the Safety Management System.
  • Review conformance with BGCA membership requirements and applicable safety standards, including OSHA.
  • Identify opportunities for improving the safety system and proactively identify trends.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Ensure assessment findings are based on objective evidence.
  • Prepare detailed reports summarizing risk assessment findings and recommended mitigation strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with Club leaders in person, virtually, and through written follow-up.

Risk Mitigation:

  • Provide policy interpretations and basic safety corrections while onsite.
  • Assign timelines for corrective action and coordinate follow-up with QA National/Lead Directors.
  • Facilitate follow-up actions to address non-compliance, including safety director involvement.
