Job Description

The Compensation ERP Sustainment Analyst will serve as the functional and business process expert for Workday Compensation, ensuring ongoing optimization and support of compensation processes including pay planning, offer generation, one-time payments (OTPs), and compensation cycle management. Uses analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to support, maintain, and optimize the Workday Compensation module. The analyst will provide best practice guidance, resolve system issues, and deliver solutions that support Presbyterians Compensation pay practices and philosophies. Serve as the primary point of contact for all Workday Compensation configuration, troubleshooting, testing, and enhancement requests. Partner with Compensation and HR teams to, design, maintain and enhance compensation processes such as merit cycles, bonus programs, and one-time payments, including interim solutions where Workday functionality is limited. Analyze compensation data and system workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials for HR and business users. Troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and ensure data integrity through audits, reporting, and reconciliation activities. Monitor system performance, user feedback, and business needs to recommend and implement process improvements that reduce manual processing time and improve accuracy. Support annual compensation review cycles, including system setup, testing, and post-cycle analysis. Provide end user support, training, and documentation efforts for end-users and stakeholders to drive adoption and understanding of compensation tools. Collaborate with Workday consultants and internal teams to evaluate new features, plan releases, and prepare for future integrations. Stay current on Workday releases and industry best practices, proactively recommending enhancements. Ability to manage cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels. Investigate and perform root cause analysis on system errors. Proactively evaluates and recommends adoption of changes as they meet organizational needs and implement system capabilities. Gather and document business requirements and translate them into configurations.
