Job Purpose:

  • Proactively grow the specialty pharmacy patient population.
  • Enroll eligible patients with Shields Partner Pharmacy
  • Educate patients on the services offered by the Shields Specialty Pharmacy Program.

Job Duties:

  • Communicate with patients over the phone.
  • Access patient's EMR and review chart notes prior to outbound call.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal communication and phone skills.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work effectively in an independent environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Experience/ Education:

  • Texas Pharmacy Technician License and National Certification from PTCB or equivalent is required.
  • 1+ years' experience as a Pharmacy Technician or related experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
