Senior Engineering Manager (FE) - Editing Core (Remote ANZ)

As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA. You will be leading a team of ~10 engineers within the Editing Core group and collaborating with product and technical leads to drive critical architecture improvements across the Canva Editor. You will own and execute large, cross-functional engineering initiatives that impact the entire editing experience and scale the team’s capability through coaching, mentoring, and fostering technical excellence. You'll also influence roadmap planning and align technical goals with broader company strategy. The Editing Core team builds some of the most critical parts of Canva’s product – from document schema and selection logic to real-time collaboration and offline editing. The role will involve working across technical design, code architecture, hiring, engagement with key stakeholders across the business, and professional growth and development of the people they lead.
