Manager, Legal Operations

About the Role:

• The Manager, Legal Operations will report to the Director, Head of Legal Operations and play a critical role in scaling and optimizing the operations of our Legal team.
• You will own the legal department budget and the outside counsel and vendor management program, driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
• This hands-on role involves building processes, managing systems, and creating actionable insights through data and reporting.

You Will:

• Own legal department budget planning, tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Oversee outside counsel management, including rate negotiations and matter budgets.
• Serve as primary administrator for e-billing and matter management systems.
• Lead vendor selection and RFP processes for legal technology and outside counsel panels.

You Have:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in legal operations, legal project management, or a related function.
• 2+ years working with an in-house legal team with knowledge of outside counsel management and e-billing.
• Strong technical acumen and comfort with legal tech and process implementation.
