Senior UX Designer

Role Overview:

• You will be embedded on a cross-functional agile team supporting a Family Portal and Case Management System for Massachusetts families.
• This is a long-term engagement (12+ months) focused on meaningful public service work.

Responsibilities:

• Own UX and UI designs from concept to handoff, including wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity prototypes.
• Build and maintain components within an evolving design system and ensure WCAG 2.1 AA compliance.
• Collaborate directly with engineers to ensure accurate implementation and adjust for technical constraints.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of UX/UI design experience with strong visual design and systems thinking.
• Proficiency in Figma and working knowledge of accessibility standards.
• Comfort in agile environments and ability to present design rationale to non-designer audiences.
