Responsibilities:
- You will handle day-to-day trademark protection and enforcement, including clearance searches, risk assessments, and responding to USPTO Office Actions.
- You will draft and negotiate trademark, copyright, and right of publicity agreements, such as licenses and settlement agreements.
- You will support litigation counsel in oppositions, cancellations, and civil lawsuits, and oversee foreign counsel on enforcement activities.
Qualifications:
- You must have a minimum of 4-7 years of solid domestic trademark prosecution and enforcement experience.
- You must hold a JD from an accredited law school and be an active member in good standing with your state bar.
- You should possess excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage high-volume deadlines.
Additional Information:
- This is a remote contract role from mid-November 2026 to early-May 2027, requiring 40 hours per week in Pacific Standard Time.
- The pay range is $100-$125 per hour, with final compensation dependent on skills and experience.
