About the Role:
- You will serve as in-house counsel for Xsolla's Japan operations, advising on licensing, vendor contracts, HR matters, and corporate governance.
- You will manage relationships with external Japanese counsel and monitor regulatory developments affecting the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements including licensing, vendor, and distribution contracts.
- Advise on Japanese employment and HR matters, including hiring, termination, and compliance with local labor regulations.
- Provide corporate governance counsel on entity management, shareholder agreements, and board-level matters specific to Japan.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a corporate attorney with a license to practice law in Japan (bengoshi qualification).
- Full professional fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
- Deep expertise in negotiations and drafting across complex agreements and corporate matters.
