About the Role:

  • You will serve as in-house counsel for Xsolla's Japan operations, advising on licensing, vendor contracts, HR matters, and corporate governance.
  • You will manage relationships with external Japanese counsel and monitor regulatory developments affecting the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of commercial agreements including licensing, vendor, and distribution contracts.
  • Advise on Japanese employment and HR matters, including hiring, termination, and compliance with local labor regulations.
  • Provide corporate governance counsel on entity management, shareholder agreements, and board-level matters specific to Japan.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience as a corporate attorney with a license to practice law in Japan (bengoshi qualification).
  • Full professional fluency in Japanese and English, both written and spoken.
  • Deep expertise in negotiations and drafting across complex agreements and corporate matters.
