Support Engineer

THE ROLE:

• You take the hardest problems our customers hit in production and solve them end to end, from tracing to fixing to building automation.
• You're an accelerator that makes every fix compound, so the product gets better and the next fix is faster.
• This is the front door to deployment and platform work at Siena, with a clear path to Forward Deployed Engineer or platform engineering.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You solve problems end to end, distinguishing customer-side causes from product bugs without stopping at "it's not our bug."
• You like talking to customers, using calls as leverage, and you're excited to build automation so problems never recur.
• You're fluent with AI agents and prompts, comfortable with Node.js, TypeScript, React, Express, and SQL, and you use AI coding tools as leverage.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Own the hard problems end to end, debugging agents and prompts, and building so it doesn't happen twice.
• Close the loop to Product with structured, metrics-backed signal, and raise the team's floor by making everyone more capable.
• Know where your scope ends, escalating with clean reproductions.
