Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary legal resource on regulatory and privacy matters.
- Work closely with the SVP, Legal & Compliance and outside counsel.
- Manage risk thoughtfully in a fast-moving environment.
Experience:
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active license to practice law.
- 5–8 years of legal experience in fintech, consumer finance, or regulated financial services.
- Hands-on experience with financial services regulation like Reg E, Reg Z, UDAAP, and GLBA.
Skills:
- Clear communicator translating legal requirements into plain-English guidance.
- Comfortable working independently and managing outside counsel relationships.
- Genuine curiosity about financial products and technology.
