Role Overview:
- Partner closely with the Academic Field Sales team to drive growth across the Midwest and West market, selling best-in-class solutions within the Research & Analytics portfolio.
- Play a critical role in bringing products like Web of Science, Web of Science Research Intelligence, InCites, and Pivot-RP to universities to help institutions advance research, teaching, and assessment initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Own product-led sales strategy, build a strong pipeline, increase deal sizes, and drive cross-sell expansion within existing Academic customers while supporting selective new logo acquisition.
- Identify and support new business opportunities both independently and in collaboration with Account Managers, driving growth and expanding market presence.
- Establish and nurture strong customer relationships through regular communication, exceptional service, and proactive problem-solving to ensure ongoing customer loyalty and satisfaction.
Team & Collaboration:
- Report to the Director of Research & Analytics Sales, Americas, and work alongside Account Managers and key commercial partners to execute impactful sales strategies and deliver meaningful results.
- Join a highly focused, impact-driven Academia & Government Product Sales team dedicated to helping universities unlock the full power of research intelligence.
- Be part of a tight-knit, seven-member team that values collaboration, curiosity, and shared success in a strategic, fast-moving environment deeply connected to customers’ missions.
