What You'll Do:
- Contact insurance companies and third-party payers to verify pre-certification, pre-authorization, and medical necessity for complex hospital services.
- Secure approvals before scheduled procedures and communicate payer requirements.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree or medical coder training preferred.
- At least 3 years of revenue cycle or related healthcare experience, with 1 year specifically in healthcare revenue cycle.
