Technical Accounting & Compliance:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for US GAAP, including ASC 842 lease accounting and complex capitalization policies.
- Oversee fixed asset lifecycle, impairment assessments, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit preparation.
- Strengthen month-end close with enhanced accrual methodologies and cut-off controls.
Strategic Projects & Leadership:
- Partner on accounting system migrations, documenting workflows and implementing technical requirements.
- Evaluate financial risks, investigate discrepancies, and enhance internal controls to mitigate fraud.
- Bridge operational accounting with strategic oversight and governance objectives.
Qualifications & Culture:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CIA strongly preferred.
- Proven senior-level accounting experience with deep US GAAP expertise.
- Thrives in a fast-paced, globally distributed remote environment with high autonomy and ownership.
