Job Summary:
- Process, research, and resolve credit balances and refunds escalated from the Credit team.
- Ensure compliance with billing standards and applicable laws.
- Operate in a team-oriented environment focused on superior service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review refund request letters and determine resolutions based on contracts and guidelines.
- Identify trends, analyze data from reports, and make recommendations.
- Ensure check registers are sent for approval and returned checks are researched.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with healthcare insurance payment posting experience.
- Knowledge of Explanation of Benefits (EOB) statements and insurance plans.
- Strong communication, spreadsheet, time management, and organizational skills.
