The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) plays a key role in driving growth and building long-term partnerships within the team sports market for SanMar Sports. This role requires strong communication skills, demonstrated leadership, effective planning and organization, and creative problem-solving. The SAM collaborates with the Sr. Channel Manager, inside sales, and Territory Managers to identify new business opportunities, expand market share, and support national programs.
Sell SanMarβs value proposition effectively through targeted presentations and conversations with executives at the corporate level, and support presentations and other communications regarding strategic plans in collaboration with Territory Managers to the office level. Build strong customer relationships with key executives and managers at the individual account level and corporate office. Understand the strategic goals, trends and other impactful information relevant to the growth of the strategic account and communicate this information effectively and efficiently across members of the sales and operational teams. Act as the customerβs advocate to push for change and improvements to meet customer demands with a focus on improving the customer experience.
