Legal Assistant

General overview:

• Customer.io's Legal team is seeking a highly motivated Legal Assistant contractor to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
• This role reports to the General Counsel and offers practical exposure to contract management, legal operations, and privacy compliance.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and receive mentorship while supporting the company's legal and operational initiatives.

What you'll do:

• Assist with contract organization and data hygiene during the legacy migration project to LinkSquares.
• Review and archive outdated templates and documents from Google Drive to streamline internal file systems.
• Support the legal team in managing shared inboxes and coordinating customer security assessments.

About you:

• You have an interest in corporate, contract, or technology law.
• You possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• You can handle confidential information with discretion and communicate effectively.

What we're looking for:

• Interest or experience with legal tech platforms like LinkSquares or Conveyor is a plus.
• This is a temporary remote contractor position through the end of 2026, working 40 hours per week.
