Financial Counseling Duties:

• Update patient accounts and balances, maintaining accurate financial records.

Payment Processing and Verification:

• Verify and assure all accounts are ready for billing with adequate supporting documentation.
• Collect patient payments over the phone, ensuring secure and efficient transactions.
• Review and process patient and insurance company forms, adhering to policies and procedures.

Communication and Coordination:

• Communicate well with patients and insurance companies over the phone or fax.
• Coordinate patient care with clinics, ensuring seamless service delivery.
• Follow policy and procedures regarding financial screening and third-party demands.
