Referrals Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Process incoming medical referrals and enter accurate information into medical management systems.
• Review referrals for applicable benefits and medical necessity, escalating sensitive cases for further clinical assessment.
• Assign ICD-10 diagnosis codes and CPT procedure codes to ensure accurate documentation.

Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain interim approval for a government security clearance through NBIS.
• At least 2 years of customer service, administrative, or data entry experience and 2 years of healthcare experience.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and working knowledge of medical terminology, CPT, and ICD coding.
