Payroll Processing:
- Prepare and process regular and off-cycle payroll, maintaining employee records including tax forms, benefits deductions, and direct deposit.
- Calculate and verify pay adjustments, overtime, bonuses, and other compensations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Compliance and Reporting:
- Reconcile benefit plan data against payroll records using the reconciliation system.
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll reconciliations, year-end tax forms (W-2s), and support audits.
- Stay updated on payroll laws and update the payroll system accordingly.
Collaboration and Support:
- Act as a point of contact for employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Work closely with HR to manage new hires, terminations, and salary changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
