Senior Donation Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for donor referrals, coordinating with hospitals, hospices, and medical examiners.
• Conduct detailed medical and social history interviews to ensure suitability of donated tissues.
• Manage daily tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide escalation support for Donation Coordinators.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience approaching grieving families with a proven record of securing authorizations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle high-stress situations.
• Advanced knowledge of disease processes and familiarity with FDA and AATB regulations.

Work Environment:

• Remote position based in the Bay Area, with a 24/7/365 fast-paced operational setting.
