Technical Leadership & Engineering Ownership:

  • Lead structured troubleshooting during abnormal operating conditions including pump, filtration, viscosity, pressure, and flow issues.
  • Make real-time operational decisions balancing risk, cost, and value while owning the on-site interface for PLC and automation changes.
  • Drive operational reliability through disciplined data collection and lead the sample and lab program for high-quality data.

Operations & Site Leadership:

  • Partner with the Operations Supervisor to maintain shared ownership of safety and operational discipline.
  • Publish and maintain the weekly operator schedule, own ADP/payroll coordination, and ensure readiness for 24/7 operations.
  • Coach operators in diagnostic thinking and build site operating rhythms that support high accountability and strong communication.

Hiring & Team Development:

  • Serve as on-site hiring manager for operator roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and providing EEO-compliant feedback.
  • Assist with onboarding and operator development through structured training and performance coaching.
  • Contribute to the long-term operating playbook including SOPs, training systems, and troubleshooting frameworks for future sites.
