About the Role:
- Vital member of the Client Development department focused on strategic growth for the AJIPHASE® platform-based CDMO business.
- Reports to the VP of Business Development, identifying leads among pharma and biotech innovators and overseeing technical project management.
Responsibilities:
- Generates high-value sales leads and active clinical or commercial pipeline opportunities in North America.
- Coordinates technical project workflows and facilitates cross-border communications with AJIPHASE® expert teams in Japan.
- Negotiates complex MSAs and technical commercial SOWs to win new client programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences field or business with substantial technical pharmaceutical experience.
- 3–5 years of dedicated Business Development experience and 3+ years of CMC experience at a pharmaceutical or CDMO company.
- Demonstrated familiarity with CRM data architecture and global time zone collaboration.
Work Environment:
- Hybrid office environment or remotely with domestic travel 25-50% and international travel to Japan 2-3 times per year.
- Prolonged sitting or standing at a workstation with intense computer use.
