Senior People Communication & Engagement Strategist

This role will focus on developing and executing proactive internal communication initiatives, programs, and events. It will keep GitLab team members informed, connected, and engaged. The role involves partnering with People Group program owners and cross-functional teams to design and deliver clear, empathetic communication strategies.

Responsibilities include creating written and visual content that highlights company goals, values, and achievements. It will be important to monitor feedback and sentiment from team members to identify communication needs. Coordinating timelines, approvals, and delivery for multiple concurrent communications will be required.

The role involves modeling and reinforcing GitLab’s mission, culture, and values in all communication and engagement efforts. This also includes helping leaders and stakeholders communicate with clarity and transparency to improve perceptions of communication, culture, inclusion, and belonging.
