Work Interactions:

  • Acts as the liaison for the Department Chair, interacting with faculty, students, laboratory management, and various internal departments such as HR, Accounts Payable, and Facilities.
  • Coordinates with external vendors and university offices including the Office of Communications, UIS, and the Office of the Registrar to support departmental and graduate program operations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in administration, higher education, or program management.

  • The projected hourly pay range is $31.50 to $38.50, with compensation determined by individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and university business factors.
