Job Description

The Salesforce Administrator plays a significant role in the development of Whatnot’s Salesforce instance for the Categories and Expansion (CatEx) Team. Working with stakeholders across CatEx, Growth, Data, and Marketing, the Salesforce Administrator is tasked with supporting development of our early-stage Salesforce instance via management of automations, integrations, data hygiene, and sales enablement, as well as maintaining our ongoing environment release schedule. The Salesforce Administrator will support development of Whatnot’s Salesforce environment, including integrations with internal tools, systems configuration and maintenance, notification announcements, environment refresh, and AppExchange products. They will also manage configuration of Salesforce features including user management, security, custom objects, page layouts, validations, workflows, flows, process builders, and other 3rd party applications. This role provides frontline support to sales, account management, and launch teams—manage support requests and help troubleshoot issues, answer questions, and optimize their use of Salesforce. They will develop and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards to provide insight into marketing and sales performance. They will also work cross functionally with data and engineering teams to develop, manage, and update critical integrations.
