The Technical Account manager is a technical team member responsible for all aspects of the planning, architecture, coordination, and management of professional services engagements. The focus is on architecting and project management of availability solutions, including data protection and monitoring. The Technical Account manager is an expert in the areas of Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Continuity, Data Center, Cloud, Operating Systems, Networking, Storage, and Virtualization.
Responsibilities include providing input to proposals, supporting delivery implementation, providing project guidance, assisting with solution design and implementation, and creating documentation. The role involves onsite knowledge transfer, sales assistance, and analyzing installed environments to optimize configurations. Facilitating communication, identifying client needs, improving processes, and overnight travel are also key aspects.
Qualifications include VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent experience, along with Prince 2, ITIL, or PMP certifications. A Bachelorβs Degree in technology is required, coupled with hands-on experience with Veeamβs Core products, consulting, and project management experience. Excellent communication skills are essential, with a focus on developing technical knowledge of VEEAM solutions and associated technologies, and quarterly travel to customer.
