Engineering Manager, Dedicated Infrastructure

What you’ll do:

• Partner with the team's Product Manager to set clear priorities and deliver with quality and speed.
• Maintain at least 99.9% availability for Dedicated infrastructure, strengthen security, and automate operations.
• Give your team clear direction and meaningful feedback, and build shared ownership of development and operations.

What you’ll bring:

• A track record of building and owning large-scale distributed services, with technical depth to evaluate architecture.
• Experience with fleet management, Terraform, AWS, and automated provisioning at a scale of 20 or more clusters.
• Experience owning services with 99.99% availability SLOs and using AI tools to improve team productivity.

• We build and operate the large-scale distributed infrastructure for GitLab Dedicated, focusing on availability, security, and fleet management.
• We build self-service platforms that enable feature implementers to own their services in production.
• We collaborate asynchronously with autonomy, accountability, and transparency guiding our work.
