Senior Interaction Designer / Senior UX Designer

Role Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Interaction Designer with strong GDS experience to work on a critical programme.
• This is a 6-month fixed term contract role designed for someone who enjoys leading at pace in complex delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a trusted point of contact for the client, working with multidisciplinary teams on complex, sensitive problems.
• Make informed design decisions, influence outcomes, and shape design to support successful delivery.
• Support the programme through GDS Design and Build phase, articulating insights and ensuring standards.

Qualifications:

• Significant experience in Interaction Design within GDS projects and demonstrable Figma experience.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary delivery teams and eligibility for UK Security Clearance.
• Desirable: experience in Home Office, BlueLight, or Justice contexts, and GDS Assessment experience.
