Job Description
Handle phone calls and voicemails via Zoom Voice, engaging in patient-facing communication. Schedule patient appointments and coordinate the physician’s personal calendar. Perform virtual rooming duties such as calling patients pre-visit, reviewing medications and history, and entering data into the EMR (Tebra). Manage prior authorizations by contacting insurers, submitting requests, and following through to approval. Clear and organize the daily UPDOX queue, routing items appropriately. Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records and follow standard practice workflows, and provide general admin support to keep the practice running smoothly.
