Revenue Cycle CDI Specialist

Job Summary:

• As a Revenue Cycle CDI Specialist, you will enhance the accuracy and integrity of inpatient medical records.
• You will bridge clinical teams, quality departments, and coding professionals to drive excellence in DRG assignment and financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough medical record reviews within 24–48 hours of admission and perform systematic follow-ups.
• Author compliant provider queries adhering to AHIMA and ACDIS guidelines.
• Educate multi-disciplinary care teams on documentation best practices and collaborate with HIM coding professionals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and two years’ acute care hospital clinical CDI experience.
• Two years’ inpatient coding auditor experience and current RN license.
• Preferred: CAC experience, Epic, Cerner, Meditech, and certifications like RHIT, CDIP, or CCS.
