Job Description

The Provider Payor Relations and Strategy Account Manager - Remote plays a vital role in optimizing Hanger’s revenue by leading strategic initiatives focused on rate improvement, contract expansion, and managed care . This position requires a blend of sales expertise, contract negotiation skills, and customer relationship management to drive profitable growth. Managing accounts across multiple states, the manager collaborates with health plans, hospital systems, and internal teams to ensure continued success in the market. Develop and execute strategies to increase reimbursement rates annually within existing contracts, lead contract negotiations, and adjust contract terms. Identify opportunities to expand contracts and grow the O&P products portfolio, implement a Business Plan for Managed Care, and analyze financial data to optimize revenue. Work with Commercial Operations, partner with the Hanger Clinic Team, and coordinate with the Hospital Sales Team. Build and maintain strong relationships, provide customer education, and manage responses to escalated issues. Lead projects focused on contract management and payor strategy improvements and serve as a subject matter expert.
