Senior Database Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the health, availability, performance, and security of SQL Server and MySQL database environments across on-premises and AWS infrastructure.
• Monitor database operations, backups, maintenance tasks, and system performance to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Serve as an escalation point for complex database incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years of experience administering SQL Server databases in production environments.
• Strong expertise in database monitoring, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and high-availability/disaster recovery solutions.
