Job Description
Energy Recovery, Inc. is looking for a Sales Manager in India with the Wastewater team. This role involves managing customer accounts, developing relationships with customers & distribution channels. The candidate will assist the Director of Business Development in understanding the total addressable market as well as market dynamics and trends, while developing relationships with end-users, consultants, OEM´s, EPC’s, and other relevant shareholders.
Responsibilities include adhering to company policies, meeting quotas by executing a territory sales plan, assisting in developing markets, making regular visits to develop working relationships and grow revenues, preparing proposals and presentations, monitoring market conditions, working with internal support departments, performing market research, developing business plans, controlling travel expenses, gathering customer feedback, working with end users to specify ERI´s products, identifying relevant conferences, reporting on sales metrics, and ensuring accurate CRM information.
The ideal candidate should have experience in the Water and Wastewater Treatment Market. A Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering is required along with a strong technical background. The candidate should have 5-10 years of experience of sales & business development in target market(s) and fluency in spoken and written English. Travel is expected 40-50% of the time.
