Role Overview:

  • Lead, hire, and develop a team of QA Engineers (II and III) with structured 1:1s, career development, and performance reviews.
  • Act as senior quality owner for ongoing releases, tracking progress and unblocking the team.
  • Own the QA strategy across product areas, ensuring test coverage and release governance meet objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee QA release process across development teams, enforcing quality gates and sign-off conditions before production deployment.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex defects and quality risks, engaging the right stakeholders.
  • Drive automation roadmap with coverage targets, framework evaluation, and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications:

  • Ten-plus years in QA with at least two to three years in a lead role with direct people management.
  • Proven ability to stay hands-on in releases, removing blockers without micromanaging.
  • Deep understanding of release governance, manual and automated testing, and root cause analysis.
