New SAP Basis Engineer, Senior

Senior SAP Basis Engineers are responsible for providing technical support to client SAP basis systems. They are responsible for the technical aspects of enhancing, updating and deploying critical changes, designing new solutions, and creating procedures in the SAP area. They will report to the Principal Director of Application Support. They perform project-based and production support responsibilities as needed to support apiphani managed client environments inclusive of SAP system migrations, SAP landscape refreshes, data protection including database backup & recovery, HA configurations and ongoing SAP system maintenance activities, e.g., SAP performance management, patching, problem management, etc. The engineer will also work within and outside the SAP department to determine best practices for future landscapes; Build and maintain comprehensive documentation for problem resolution actions, root cause, procedures, etc. They will drive continual improvement in systems operations through collaboration with both delivery and development teams and will actively engage in root cause analysis, in collaboration with software development and other delivery teams and shall execute against defined project goals.
