About the Role:
- The Compliance Manager will manage day-to-day operations of our compliance program.
- Act as a trusted collaborator across the organization, ensuring compliance with all complex healthcare regulations.
- Be a key strategic partner in continual improvement of compliance and risk management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough compliance investigations into policy violations and state or federal regulatory breaches, including HIPAA, privacy, and fraud-related cases.
- Proactively identify and assess compliance risks by reviewing internal departmental processes, new product initiatives, and changing regulatory landscapes.
- Develop key risk indicators and continuous monitoring programs to evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of healthcare compliance experience.
- 2+ years conducting complex compliance and privacy investigations.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare laws including HIPAA/HITECH, state Medicaid requirements, and OIG guidelines.
