What You'll Be Working On:
- Administer and process payroll for Canadian and US entities, including regular semi-monthly payroll, ad hoc bonuses and/or payments, etc.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, statutory deductions, vacation accruals, terminations, severance, and prorated payments.
- Manage year-end payroll processes, including preparation, reconciliation, and distribution of T4s, W-2s, and other required tax documents.
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of progressive experience processing payroll for both Canada and US payroll.
- 3+ years of experience administering payroll-related benefits, including RRSP/401(k) deductions, taxable benefits, equity, and year-end reporting.
- Experience working with PEO environments (TriNet preferred; PEO exposure an asset).
