Job Summary:

  • Provides timely, accurate, and complete pharmaceutical care processing medication orders.
  • Monitors patients for adverse reactions, allergies, and appropriate drug use.
  • Communicates with site staff for clarifications and dosage adjustments.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and interprets physician orders using the patient profile.
  • Screens orders for optimal usage, intervening per clinical protocols.
  • Uses pharmacokinetic skills to determine dosing and monitor responses.

Requirements:

  • B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
  • Three years of hospital pharmacy experience.
  • Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the work state.
