Job Summary:
- Provides timely, accurate, and complete pharmaceutical care processing medication orders.
- Monitors patients for adverse reactions, allergies, and appropriate drug use.
- Communicates with site staff for clarifications and dosage adjustments.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews and interprets physician orders using the patient profile.
- Screens orders for optimal usage, intervening per clinical protocols.
- Uses pharmacokinetic skills to determine dosing and monitor responses.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
- Three years of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing in the work state.
