People Business Partner

Velocity Global is seeking a strategic, regionally experienced People Business Partner (PBP) to join their People team to support employees and leaders across the Americas region, with a particular focus on LATAM markets, primarily Colombia and Brazil. The PBP serves as a trusted advisor and internal consultant to business leaders, supporting organizational effectiveness, talent planning, performance management, and employee engagement. This individual will work cross-functionally to deliver people strategies that align with Velocity Global’s business goals, while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and upholding their values. Partner closely with leaders across Engineering, Product, and other business functions to support organizational development, workforce planning, team dynamics, and career development. Serve as the primary point of contact for People support across Colombia, Brazil, and broader LATAM teams, ensuring culturally relevant and legally compliant support. Guide leaders in managing performance conversations, coaching, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and employee development initiatives. Manage complex employee relations issues, investigations, and involuntary terminations, partnering with internal legal counsel as needed to ensure risk mitigation and compliance.
